Formed in 2008, Glèusta, have excited audiences with their clever balance of traditional folk, jazz, contemporary, classical and Gaelic music. They play with a combination of Clàrsach, Electro-harp, Voice, Marimba, Cajòn, Drum-kit and sometimes even stepping on a Pandiro! Through Gaelic song and lyrical playing Màiri conveys nuances of Scottish beauty which Ross complements with rousing tones and chords which whet the appetite for their funky grooves! Their debut CD was released at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2009 and in April 2010 they performed at the prestigious Edinburgh International Harp Festival.

Glèusta do not play together anymore due to their being hundreds of miles between their two locations - Isle of Lewis and London! Glèusta’s music is occasionally played by Ross, adapted for two percussionists instead.
